A little pertinent info about Quincy, our first dog. He’s a Harrier. I hope you enjoy!
I am a harrier! Harriers are a breed of dog that originated in England quite some time ago. Some people say there are records that show the first hunting pack of harriers existed in England as early as the 13th century! I don’t know exactly how old the breed is, but for sure harriers are extremely rare in North America, and pretty much the world. In England, New Zealand and other places that still use us for active hunts we would never be considered for a household pet! Our great grand parents were imported from a hunting pack in England, so the hunting instinct is very strong in us! For more info about my breed check out the sites listed on the right!

Of course! Jacquie and Chris! They are my pet mummy and daddy!
Tracking
I am a scent hound, so I always follow my nose. My ancestors were used to hunt hares in Great Britain, and that instinct is still strong in me!
Lap Time
I won’t go to my crate unless I have had at least five minutes in either of my parents laps! Going to bed without lap time is unacceptable!
Eating
Harriers love to eat, and I am no exception. My mummy and daddy have to watch what they give me because I would eat everything that was put in front of me - even if I know it’s too much!
