This weekend Jacquie and I went to the Island to see my family. It was a surprise for Father’s day - and I think Dad was really quite surprised, which is hard to do!

Quincy had a blast at Grandma and Grandpa’s house and loved spending so much time outside! He was just fabulous the whole time we were there and didn’t have any accidents in the house and settled down well (despite arriving after midnight on Friday night).

On Saturday we went for a lovely walk in Bright Angel Park (see the photo gallery) and Quincy roared around sniffing everything!! Afterwards we went to the Craig Street Grill where Sarah is serving and had a wonderful dinner (yes, Sarah served us!!).

On Father’s Day, after a fabulous brunch, we got a chance to just veg and I took a ton of photos while just lounging around the whole and garden.

It was just great to have a chance to see Mum and Dad and Sarah without having work obligations at the shop in Duncan. It was also nice to both Jacquie and I to actually have a whole weekend off, which is a rarity!
