What excitement this morning! At about 7:30 am we got an email from Ellen which informed us Quincy is our dog to be!!! It was fabulous news and a wonderful email to receive. There’s a few things in the email that made me take a deep breath. Things like, “he is a bit more vocal that the other puppies...”, “you may have to be tough in the beginning so that he doesn't manipulate you into doing what he wants...” and ”He's going to keep you hopping as a puppy...”!!!!! Sounds like fun, hey?!

Any way, the plan is for me to drive down to Portland tonight and stay in a cheap hotel there for the night. Then I have an appointment at 9 am with Ellen to pick up Quincy! I am so excited!
